When it comes to content-breaks it is important to remember that the goal is not to give the information quickly. The goal is first, to be compelling and then to be efficient. Length of time is not perceived only until there is a lack of interesting content. It can also be said that it is important to always leave the listener wanting for a little bit more as opposed to giving them more than they want.
