
It’s human nature to focus more on fixing problems than celebrating what’s going well. In the workplace, this can mean that high-performing employees often go unrecognized because management’s attention is consumed by those falling behind. Employees who consistently go above and beyond need to feel valued. Without recognition, they may feel overlooked, lose motivation, or even leave for an environment where their efforts are appreciated.
